Support coordination is a type of support that is often included in an NDIS Plan, under the ‘Capacity building supports’ category. You may have an allocation of funding for someone to help you manage all the different supports offered to you.

There are three different levels of support coordination, but at a basic level, each will:

  • Get to know you and your NDIS Plan, they look at your life as a whole
  • Help you to engage different supports, they make great connections
  • Manage your budget effectively, they understand the system
  • They problem solve with you
  • They support you to put your Plan into action
  • They empower you to be independent!
